THE DOWNERS

Meet the Downer family, Randy, Tina and their children Christian and Sara. A hard working family from the Oakwood Beach section of Staten Island whose home was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy leaving it inhabitable. They lost almost all of their possessions and now the family is forced to rent a temporary apartment while still paying for a mortgage on a home that they will not be able to live in for quite a long time. Meet the Cammarata family, John, Denise and their 3 children, Damiano, John Jr and Genna. Its amazing that their Midland Beach home is still standing after consuming 15 feet of water during Hurricane Sandy. Click here to read their story and learn how you can help.

Meet the Lombardo family- Mom Michelle and her 2 children, Christian (11) and Gianna (3) whose townhouse was flooded by Hurricane Sandy leaving it unlivable for them and their beloved pets Bandit, Princess, Snuggles and Peanut. Meet the McKeon family, Edward, Dana, their two children Jaime and Joey and grandma Kathleen. A hard working family from the Tottenville section of Staten Island whose home was ravaged by Hurricane Sandy along with father Ed's livelihood, his truck and the tools he used to provide for his family.
